Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
Dilys Group Inc. ("Dilys Group", "we", "us") operates four interconnected websites: dilysgroup.ca, dilyssearch.ca, athenarh.com, and dilysconsulting.com. Our head office is located at 310 Miwate Private, Unit 100, Ottawa, ON K1R 0E2. We are subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information in two ways:
Information you provide directly. When you complete a contact or inquiry form on any of our sites, we collect your name, email address, phone number, organization name, job title, and the content of your message. You choose what to share — no field beyond name, email, and message is required.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our sites and consent to analytics cookies, we collect usage data through Google Analytics (page views, session duration, general location, device type), HubSpot (visit and interaction tracking tied to your email if you have previously engaged with us), and LinkedIn Insight Tag (aggregated professional audience data). This data is not collected until you click Accept on the cookie consent banner.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether there is a fit between your needs and our services; maintain a record of our communications for continuity of service; understand how visitors use our sites so we can improve content and user experience; and, where you have consented to marketing cookies, show relevant advertising on platforms including LinkedIn and Google.
We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics and marketing. These technologies are only activated after you click "Accept" on our cookie consent banner. If you click "Decline," no tracking cookies will be set and no analytics data will be collected during your visit.
Your consent preference is stored in your browser's local storage under the key dilys_consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or site data for our domains. On your next visit you will be presented with the consent banner again.
The third-party services we use under consent include:

HubSpot — used for CRM contact management, visit tracking, and lead management. Data is processed by HubSpot Inc. (USA). See HubSpot's Privacy Policy.
LinkedIn Insight Tag — used for LinkedIn campaign measurement and audience insights. Data is processed by LinkedIn Corporation (USA). See LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.
5. Form Submissions and CRM
When you submit a contact form, your information is stored in Netlify (our hosting provider) and simultaneously sent to HubSpot CRM for follow-up by our team. This occurs regardless of your cookie consent choice, because it is a direct transaction you initiated. HubSpot processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
We retain form submission data for as long as a business relationship is active or reasonably anticipated, and for up to three years after last contact, unless you request deletion earlier.
6. Data Storage and Cross-Border Transfers
Our websites are hosted by Netlify Inc. (USA). Data processed by Google Analytics, HubSpot, and LinkedIn is stored on servers located in the United States. By submitting a form or consenting to analytics, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside Canada. We rely on contractual safeguards (standard contractual clauses and data processing agreements) with these providers.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to request deletion of your information where we are not required by law to retain it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@dilysgroup.ca. We will respond within 30 days.
If you believe we have not handled your personal information in compliance with PIPEDA, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
8. Children
Our sites are not directed to individuals under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our sites after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
